Import/Export Student Data - VELS tab

Use the VELS tab to:

import results from the VELS reporting system
export results to the VELS reporting system.

The Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) describe what is essential for Victorian students to achieve from Prep to Year 10. They provide a whole school curriculum planning framework that sets out learning standards for schools to use to plan their teaching and learning programs, including assessment and reporting of student achievement and progress.

Import/Export Student Data - VELS tab key fields and buttons

Fields

Field	Description
Process Type	Select whether to either: import export.
Test Mode	Select to test the file when importing the Victorian Essential Learning standards.
School Number	Code used to identify the school in Victoria.
Results Year	Year of the results, when exporting the results. Results are processed for the previous year. In the following example, results for the second semester of last year (2007) are being exported.
Actual Semester	Semester that the results apply to, when exporting them.
Year Level From / To	Range of year levels to import or export.
File Name	Name and location of exported file.
Progress	Progress of the import.

Buttons

Button	Description
	Select the file location.
