Use the Demographic tab of the Import/Export Student Data window to export data required by the Australian Ministerial Council for Education, Early Childhood Development and Youth Affairs.
Note: This is not required by the Catholic or New Zealand schools. Catholic schools submit demographic data through CEO exports.
Before running the Demographic export
By default, the Demographic export converts the Highest Secondary Year Level of the parents to the appropriate demographic level for the corresponding year level. See the Current Student Maintenance - Demographic tab - Parent 1 sub-tab.
Some organisations may have entered the demographic level instead. If this is the case for your organisation, you can set the ParentYearLevelNoConvert configuration setting so that the demographic levels are used from the data entered. See the ParentYearLevelNoConvert configuration setting in the System maintenance manual.
