Identity and Access Manager (IDAM) Search Results window

The Identity and Access Manager (IDAM) Search Results window displays results from the IDAM database that match new community members.

Note: You can also access the Identity and Access Manager (IDAM) window using the IDAM tab. See Community Maintenance - IDAM tab.

Grid area fields

Note: Most of the fields in the grid area are identical to fields found under Community Maintenance. See Maintaining community members.

Field

Description

GUID

Community member's 32-digit Global Unique identifier (GUID) from the IDAM server.

VSN

Victorian Student Number for the selected record.

Reference ID

Unique reference ID for the selected record.

IDAM Login

Login information for the selected record.

Buttons

Button

Description

Link  to this Person button (Create New Community Member IDAM search)

Link the IDAM record selected in the grid area to the new community member.

Tip: Double click a record in the grid area to perform the same function.

No Matching Person button (Create New Community Member IDAM search)

Launch the Confirm window.

Confirm window (Create New Community Member IDAM search)

Either:

  • click No button (Confirm window, Identity and Access Manager window) to create the new community member in Synergetic without a link to IDAM.
  • click Yes button (New IDAM record) to create a new IDAM record for the community member.

    Note: Depending on your selections you may also need to link the community member's spouse to IDAM.
