Field

Description

Group

Group the timetable belongs to.

Tip: Use timetable grouping to maintain more than one timetable in your organisation. For example, your junior and senior school might have different timetables.

Day

Day number. For example:

  • 1-7 for a weekly rotation
  • 1-14 for a fortnightly rotating timetable.

Period

Period number for the class, expressed as an integer.

Tip: If the class is not held in a period, such as an all-day prep class, then set the Period field to 0.

Campus

Campus the class is held at.

Class

Class code.

Staff ID

Staff identifier.

Room

Normal room number where the class is conducted.

Student ID

Student identification number.

Note: This is imported from the timetable package, and is almost always 0. There is only a student ID in this field if the timetable record is for a particular student.

Timetable Date

Date, if the timetable is for a specific date.

Year

Year the timetable refers to.

Semester

Semester the timetable refers to.

Type

File type of the class, whether academic or co-curricular.

T/T Sequence

Timetable sequence number.

Note: The sequence number is generated by the import process. You can use this to track down problems in the import process.

Buttons

Button

Description

Move to first record button

Go to the first record.

Move backwards 10 records button

Go back 10 records.

< button

Go to the previous record.

Move to next record button

Go to the next record.

Move forward 10 records button

Go forward 10 records.

Move to last record button

Go to the last record.

Insert new record button

Insert a new record before the highlighted record.

Delete current record button

Delete the current record.

Post changes of current record button

Save any changes you have made to the current record into the database. Changes are automatically saved when you move to another record.

Cancel changes made to current record button

Discard any changes you have made on the current record.

Copy schedule button (Timetable config)

Apply selected schedule details to a new timetable config.
