Code |
Code for the timetable group. This allows you to have more than one active timetable. For example, different timetables for the junior and senior school. |

Cycle Days |
Number of days in the timetable cycle. For example, your organisation might have a:

Actual Days in Week |
Number of teaching days in the week. For example, a timetable that teaches Monday to Friday has 5 teaching days. Note: This field counts the number of days in a week, not a cycle. For example, fortnightly timetables usually have 5 days in a week. However, organisations that teach classes on Saturdays would have 6 days in a week, and organisations that do not teach classes on Fridays would have 4. |
Periods |
Number of periods in a day. For example, 6 periods. |
Max Load |
Maximum number of lessons that staff can be allocated per timetable cycle. For example, 25. Used for determining staff substitution in SynWeb. |
Create Absence Events |
Select to enable the creation of absence events when marking nonattendances on the Attendance window. See Attendance window in the Attendance and absence events manual. Clear to disable the creation of absence events when marking nonattendances for certain classes. For example, when marking non-compulsory sporting events there is no need for an absence event to be created that requires follow up. |
