When in auto submit mode do not display a prompt stating there is another absence event for the day.

Multiple transactions can be recorded for the same student, if you have unattended sign in and sign out functions operating. This occurs if the student:

  • swipes their student card under the barcode scanner several times
  • uses the other barcode scanners indiscriminately.

A new topic has been written providing information on identifying and deleting absence events created in error.

N/A

Deleting an absence event creates a slip for each linked nonattendance.

If you delete an incorrectly-entered absence event, slips are created for any linked nonattendance records. For example, Anna Barmon has an all day absence event, along with a nonattendance, which needs correcting.

When you delete the all day absence event, Synergetic creates an absence slip for the nonattendance.

You can show the delete button and delete records from a class, if the Attendances:ShowDeleteButtonFlag configuration setting is set to True.
