New Get/Check NSN function on the NZMOE tab of Current Student Maintenance.

Changes have been made to the NZMOE tab of Current Student Maintenance for getting and checking NSN (National Student Numbers) in New Zealand schools.

The NSN field has been added to the NZMOE tab, in addition to being available from the Codes tab.

New buttons have been added to the NZMOE tab.

Seven topics have been written describing how to manage student NSNs and identity data in New Zealand schools.

The Age 1st Jan field to be able to display the student's current age instead.

Depending on the configuration setting, display either the student's:

• current age for the current file year

  

• age as at 1st January for the current file year.

New luSubSchool lookup table.

The luSubSchool lookup table is used mostly by multi-campus organisations that provide schooling for all year levels at each campus.

For example, year levels at a campus can be grouped into a:

• junior school
• middle school
• senior school.

The sub-school can then be used for searching for current and future students.

• possibilities for a student

• view activities created when the student was a future student, such as booking an interview

Default value for follow up when creating activities.

When creating activities, the Follow Up field may be selected by default for the type of activity. This depends on the FollowUpFlag in the luFutureActivity lookup table.

New Agent tab in Course Details Maintenance.

A new Agent tab has been added to Course Details Maintenance. This applies if agents are engaged to enrol students in courses that you give. For example, your organisation may enrol overseas students in your courses.

Changing a contact type to one that already exists forces a swap.

You can easily swap contacts. For example, if you have a student with SC1 and SC2 contacts, you can change the SC2 to SC1 and then the SC1 becomes SC2.

A new International tab has been added to:

• record citizenship, passport, and visa details
• set which citizenship or visa subclass is active at present.

View courses by file type.

The File Type field is available to filter the student's courses on the Courses tab. By default academic courses are displayed.

Override the debtor name and show it on the Debtor tab of Current Student Maintenance.

The debtor name can be displayed on the Debtor tab of Current Student Maintenance, rather than their community name.

The debtor name can be overridden on the Debtor tab of Debtor Maintenance.

Note: Before this change, you had to create a company record and use that as the debtor. The problem was that the individual did not have a debtor constituency set up against them.

The size of the Public Medical Alert field has been increased to 2000 characters, across all functions that use this field.

The WACE student registrations export has been combined with the WACE demographics export on the Curriculum Council tab.

Two Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) options have been combined into the Export WACE Student Registration and Demographic option:
