Adding a template to an existing task

You can add a template as a sub-task to an existing task. Templates can be nested into as many sub-tasks as required.

To add a template to an existing task:

  1. Open an existing task. See Using the User/Workflow Task window.
  2. Either click:

    The Select a Template for New Task window is displayed.

  3. Select the template you want to add as a task or sub-task.
  4. Click Ok button (Select a Template for New Task window).

Note: If this is the first sub-task for the selected task the icon changes to indicate that it is now a parent task:

To duplicate an existing task template:

  1. Select Window > Show Task List.

    The Task List is displayed.

  2. Click Managing templates button.

    The Select a Template to Edit window is displayed.

  3. Select the template you want to duplicate.
  4. Click Duplicate button.

    The template is duplicated.
