For the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 at Victorian schools, you can load pre-defined definitions:

• Victorian Curriculum F-10 for Victorian schools
• AusVELS Curriculum for subjects that have not yet been transitioned to the Victorian Curriculum
• Religious Education (RE)
• Religious Education Renewed (REN).

Loading pre-defined curriculum frameworks

Some AusVELS topics were removed.

Some AusVELS-related topics have been removed as they are no longer relevant with the introduction of transition to Victorian Curriculum F-10:

• Creating new strands, domains and dimensions for AusVELS
• AusVELS descriptions.

New field for recording expected results.

You can use the Expected Result for Area field on the Area sub-tab of the Area tab of Subject Assessment Maintenance to create subject assessment areas for entering expected results.

New ability to enter Victorian Curriculum results.

Subjects using the new Victorian Curriculum framework are marked using a numerical scale (0.5-15.5) that creates a result between:

• 0.5 and 11.0 for results using the Victorian Curriculum F-10 framework
• A and D for results using the Victorian Curriculum A-D framework.

Victorian Curriculum F-10 results are displayed in reports using a five-point marking scale (A to E).

New DNP result type for Victorian Curriculum schools.

You can select the DNP (Did Not Participate) result type for students that could not attain a result for any given assessment area.

When this field is selected the school must select a result classification to indicate why the student was unable to participate.
