Current Student Maintenance - Awards tab

Use the Awards tab to maintain awards for individual and team achievements received while attending your organisation.

You can either:

modify the details of the selected award
add a new award
delete the selected award.

Award information can be entered manually using the fields on this tab or automatically, using a User Form. For more information about automatic awards, see Setting up automatic awards in the Assessments and reports manual.

Note: The values that you can select from the drop-down lists are determined in Lookup Table Maintenance. See Maintaining awards setup data in the System maintenance manual for more information.

Field	Description
Year	Year when the award was conferred.
Sem	Semester or term when the award was conferred.
Code	Unique code for the award.
Description	Description of the award.
Classification	Type of award.
Date	Date the award was conferred.
Achievement	Brief description of the achievement.
Achievement comment	Additional comments about the individual's achievement.
Award comment	Additional comments about the award. For example, the selection criteria used for making this award.

Field	Description
Year / Sem or Term	Year and term when the award was conferred.
Classification	Type of award. Tip: Use to place awards into meaningful categories. For example Music, Academic, Sporting.
Award	Award description. Tip: You can set the award to inactive in the lookup table luAward if it is no longer used. Note: The award code and description are displayed in the drop-down list.
Date	Date the award was conferred.
Achievement	Brief description of the achievement.
Achievement Comment	Add additional comments about the individual's achievement.
Staff ID	Synergetic ID number of the staff member who nominated the student for the award.
Award Comment	Add additional comments about the award. For example, the selection criteria used for making this award.
